Long story short: ex-Hammerhead singer/guitarist moves to London, starts band with his wife and three other degenerates. The result is "Purity Pledge" by TODD, simply one of the meanest and heaviest punk/noise/hardcore/whatever records of all time. Everyone knows how great Hammerhead were (or at least they should - I'll be posting their classic "Into the Vortex" LP later), but I dare say TODD are even better. Creepy howling, gurgling, and shouting over ultra-distorted power chords with some keyboards thrown in for good measure. Demented, ugly, gross, and highly reccommended.
